The Fertilizer Institute hosts a number of conferences on an annual basis, which provide TFI members with the most current information on industry trends and government activity, in addition to exceptional networking opportunities with fertilizer industry leaders and decision makers.
TFI World Fertilizer Conference
TFI's largest meeting, the World Fertilizer Conference, draws delegates from around the world - as many as 60 different countries - making it a truly global meeting. It is held in September of each year. The 2009 World Fertilizer Conference will be held on Sept. 13-16 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.

North American Fertilizer Transportation Forum
The North American Fertilizer Transportation Forum is co-hosted by The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) and the Canadian Fertilizer Institute (CFI). The meeting provides an opportunity for shippers and carriers to discuss issues of concern and work to reach mutually-beneficial solutions to logistical problems. The 2009 conference will be held Aug. 9-10 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, B.C.

Fertilizer Outlook and Technology Conference
The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) and the Fertilizer Industry Round Table (FIRT) jointly host the Fertilizer Outlook and Technology Conference in the fall of each year. The conference is geared towards industry members, financial analysts, business consultants, trade press representatives and government economists. The Fertilizer Outlook and Technology Conference will be held Oct. 28-30, 2009 in Tampa, Fla. at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel and Marina.

TFI Fertilizer Marketing Business Meeting
The Fertilizer Marketing Business Meeting is held in February each year. The conference attracts more than 600 delegates from North America and the world. The 2009 Fertilizer Marketing Business Meeting was held Feb. 2-5 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA. The Nutrients for Life Foundation fundraising golf tournament was held Feb. 2 in conjunction with TFI's Fertilizer Marketing Business Meeting.
