Ocean-going tankers and river barges are used to transport fertilizers in solid or fluid form from their point of origin or place of manufacture. The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) and its fertilizer industry members closely monitor policies and regulations that may impact the safe and efficient transportation of crop nutrients by water.
