TFI Pledges to Work with the New Congress
WASHINGTON – The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) President and CEO Chris Jahn released the following statement on the midterm elections:
“TFI congratulates those candidates who won their election to the 116th Congress and looks forward to working with all members of Congress during the next session.
“TFI has a long history of working with both political parties on many critical issues, including infrastructure to get nutrients to crops when and where they are needed, on safety and security issues to ensure facilities and employees are protected, and environmental stewardship to keep our shared resources clean and usable while ensuring farmer profitability.
“Ensuring the world can grow the food, fuel and fiber it needs to sustain the high quality of life we expect here in the United States, and to improve quality of life in other places around the world, is not a partisan issue. No matter what side of the aisle we sit on, we all like to eat. And that’s made possible by fertilizer.”
The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) is the leading voice of the nation’s fertilizer industry.
