We are ready for the 2013 World Fertilizer Conference

September 17, 2013

The Fertilizer Institute’s (TFI)
World Fertilizer Conference is less than a week away. We are excited to visit Montreal and provide a great conference and networking opportunity for all of our members and guests. In addition, we have fantastic keynote speakers lined for the morning general sessions, as well as a farm tour through the St. Lawrence River Valley.  Download the conference brochure to help plan for your stay in Montreal!

On Monday morning, John Stanmeyer, a journalist and photographer best known for his work for National Geographic and TIME Magazines, will share his photos and stories with delegates. Stanmeyer has witnessed nearly every major current event in Asia, photographing the rapid changes taking place throughout the entire region.
Stanmeyer has also covered the conflict in South Sudan, Eastern European social change after the fall of Communism, as well as numerous visits to Haiti to record the endless social tragedies plaguing the island nation.

On Tuesday, brothers Marc and Craig Kielburger will take the stage.
Craig and Marc Kielburger are social entrepreneurs, New York Times best-selling authors and renowned agents of change. Free The Children, founded by Craig and Marc Kielburger when Craig was just 12 years old, has grown through the leadership of the two brothers into the world’s largest youth-driven charity, now with 1.7 million young people involved in its programs.

Finally, the 2013 World Fertilizer Conference Agricultural Tour is a free, one-day event that will take participants through a variety of farming, research and processing facilities in the St. Lawrence River Valley around Montreal. During the tour, we will visit Macdonald Farm at McGill University, VegPro vegetable farms and L’Acadie Experimental Farm. For more information,

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in Montreal!
