Ed Thomas

Ed Thomas is the Vice President of Government Affairs. Before joining TFI, Ed was employed as an engineer at the Virginia Department of Health, Department of Drinking Water. Before that, he spent 10 years at the Washington, D.C. office of the National Rural Water Association, serving as their Director of Regulatory Affairs. Ed also spent five years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Water and began his career as an environmental consultant.

Ed graduated in 1993 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in biology and went on to earn his M.S. in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins in 1996.
