The InfoAg Conference

Now under management by The Fertilizer Institute, the InfoAg experience is expanding to cover a broader scope of information that crop advisors and retail agribusinesses can use to advance sustainability and their organization’s bottom line. The event features a tradeshow along with education sessions that address the challenges of the retail agronomist through precision ag, environmental stewardship, sustainability, and product innovation. The conference will equip attendees with actionable takeaways they can bring back to their businesses and customers.

InfoAg 2023’s expanded education offerings will focus on the following topics:

  • Precision Agriculture: Presentations in this track will focus on the use of technologies to improve efficiencies, including monitoring soil and crop health, crop growth, and carbon estimates. Technologies include: remote sensing, drones, autonomy and robotics, blockchain, IoT, and more.
  • Products Innovation: Presentations in this category are targeted towards showcasing the latest innovative products, including Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers (EEFs), Biostimulants, genetics, beneficial insects, and other ag inputs, as well as how to evaluate this new spectrum of products and improve adoption.
  • Sustainability/Environmental Stewardship: This education track will focus on the latest conservation practices, impact of 4Rs, Climate Smart Agriculture, carbon sequestration practices and carbon markets, and the use of technology to demonstrate environmental practices.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be received via email to Valerie Sutton, [email protected] by May 27, 2023, for a refund of the registration fee (less 25% administrative fee). No telephone cancellations are accepted. After May 27, 2023, all registrations will be non-refundable. No-show attendees will not be refunded. Substitutions may be made by contacting TFI's conference department or onsite. Refunds for payments made by check will be processed within two weeks following the conference.

Registration List
Registrations are not official until payment is received. A list of all registered delegates will be provided to registered and paid attendees only. Please note that your name, company, address, and email will appear exactly as you have indicated on your registration form. A final list of registered delegates will be available on the conference mobile app. No additional list of attendees will be provided during or after the conference.

Please note: You must be registered for InfoAg to secure a discounted guest room. Once you register for the conference a web-based reservations link and telephone number will be provided in your confirmation email. Room rates do not include tax. To avoid an inconvenient billing of one night’s room and tax, you must cancel your room reservation 72 hours prior to your arrival date.

St. Louis Union Station Hotel - a Curio hotel, a collection by Hilton, is back downtown and located at Historical St. Louis Union Station, a National Historic Landmark. The hotel radiates with architectural elegance and is recognized as a Historic Hotel of America. Attached to shopping and dining, this beautiful hotel is just a short walk to the Scottrade Center home of the St. Louis Blues, and the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. St. Louis Union Station is just minutes from the Gateway Arch and America's Convention Center. 

Parking
Valet parking is recommended and is available at the Main entrance on East-bound Market Street. If you chose to Self Park there are street metered spots as well as large self-parking lots around the Union Station Mall. Due to the size of the Mall these parking lots are far from the hotel and are not suggested as a first choice to park.

Ridgely joined Land O’Lakes in 2020, spearheading Truterra initiatives to deliver ecosystem service opportunities to the Land O’Lakes grower and retailer network, including development and implementation of Truterra’ s inaugural carbon program. Previous to joining Truterra, Ridgely was President and Chief Operating Officer of Agren, Inc., a consulting and precision conservation software company that was acquired by Land O’Lakes.  She has spent more than 20 years in soil and water conservation, building innovative solutions to agriculture's environmental challenges. Jamie and her husband, Cory, live with their three daughters on the Ridgely family's Century Farm in Calhoun County, Iowa, where they raise corn, soybeans and Belgian draft horses.

Troy Bolt

Troy Bolt is the Vice President and General Manager for Simplot Grower Solutions, the agriculture retail division of Simplot AgriBusiness. He leads and oversees the entire Simplot Grower Solutions organization, which has over 250 locations in 35 states & provinces and includes the Innvictis portfolio of seed, Bioscience, and Crop Care products. Troy has been with Simplot since 2017. 

Before joining Simplot, Troy held a variety of management roles with several companies including Sulvaris and Viterra.



Aman Anand

Digital and Agronomic Collaborations at Nutrien Ag Solutions

Aman Anand (CPAg) is senior manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions, the largest agricultural retailer in North America. He manages digital collaboration strategy in agricultural technology to deliver an integrated value chain strategy with major global partners. He leads due diligence efforts to evaluate potential partners and support investment and M&A activities. Also, responsible for developing and supporting the digital IP strategy to maximize the value of Nutrien's innovation. He has 15 years of a career spanning Fortune 100 companies, the agrochemical Industry, land-grant universities, and the World Bank sustainability initiatives. Before joining Nutrien Ag Solutions in 2022, he had decade-long working experience at America's largest farmer-owned cooperative, CHS, in different roles ranging from lead agronomist to product development to sustainability. He was responsible for the company's scientific strategy, focusing on digital innovation, researched-based practice, and quality improvement. He conducted research trials with more than 20 land-grant universities in the US with a focus on innovation, a research-based approach for product validation, and quality improvement. Aman has an advanced degree in Plant Sciences (North Dakota State University) and Patent Law (University of Minnesota). Currently, he lives in Lakeville (Minnesota) with his family. He is dedicated to building a system that delivers sustainable food, clean water, and low-carbon energy to society through collaborations. He serves on multiple agtech and climate-tech startups board to provide strategic direction to create impact.

Mark LeBlanc, PhD

State Chemist for OISC Purdue

Mark LeBlanc serves as the Indiana State Chemist and Seed Commissioner.  Prior to accepting his current role in 2020, he spent more than 20 years working in various state agriculture regulatory roles in Louisiana.  He earned bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in Horticulture from Louisiana State University.  Mark and his wife, Ellen, currently reside in Lafayette, IN.  They are the parents of 5 children between the ages of 27 and 17.   He was born and raised in the small town of Sunshine, LA.

Greg Schwab, PhD

Vice President, Agronomy and Innovation at Koch Agronomic Services, LLC

Dr. Greg Schwab is the Vice President of Agronomy and Innovation at Koch Agronomic Services, LLC (KAS), a subsidiary of Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC.  KAS is focused on developing customer-driven solutions to maximize plant performance in the agriculture industry. Dr. Schwab is responsible for leading KAS’s global agronomy team.  Their role is to educate customers on the value of our products and to coordinate research efforts on new and existing technologies. In addition, he serves as a member of the innovation team which is focused on identifying and advancing the product portfolio and new business collaboration opportunities.  Prior to joining KAS in 2011, Dr. Schwab was an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky for almost 10 years.

Chris Underwood, PhD

Chief Science Officer & Partner at Alchemy Experts

Dr. Underwood earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry in 2006 from the University of Central Florida and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry in 2013.  He started his career by taking the position of Product Development Manager at AgroLiquid, a position he held for 5 years until 2018.  Chris then briefly took his talents to Hocking International Laboratories (now Synsus Private Label Partners), where he held the position of Director of R&D and Formulation Services for a one year, then took the position of R&D Manager with Custom Agronomics, Inc., a position which he held until earlier this year.  Chris is currently a primary partner at Alchemy Experts LLC, a company that specializes in custom formulation and private-label manufacturing of fertilizer and adjuvant products for the Ag and T&O markets.

Nathan Faleide

For over 20 years Nathan Faleide has been part of the Agriculture Industry. He grew up on a farm in central North Dakota along with his family's company Satshot, which was one of the earliest AgTech companies created and deals mainly with satellite imagery analytics and distribution. Currently he writes about the AgTech industry through his Easy Observations newsletter, performs business consulting in the Ag industry, and has his own business called Boundri which provides tools for map based printed products from wall maps to farm toy play rugs. He still resides in ND outside of Fargo with his wife and three kids.
